Christmas Play - Songs and Lyrics

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Yesterday, your child should have brought home a copy of the lyrics for the Christmas play which will take place on Friday, December 13th at 7pm. Please do not worry about your child knowing all of the lyrics word for word. A copy of the lyrics has been sent home with every child in school and obviously the expectations are greater for the older students.

For the Year 1 pupils however, we are focusing on the following three songs, for which your child will be on stage. These are:
- Mistletoe Ball
- You've Got To Believe in Christmas
- Magical Sleigh Ride

If you have any further questions or concerns about the Christmas play, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Kind regards,

Mr. Meehan

Weather - The Water Cycle

Hi folks,

This week, the pupils of Year 1 have been learning about water and the water cycle. We've been discussing the different stages of the water cycle and the children had some super ideas about how water gets into our houses and comes out of our taps.

Here is a short video we used to help explain the stages of evaporation, condensation and precipitation.

Regards,
Mr.Meehan
