Who We Are - Our Local Communities

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Please find below some pictures of the wonderful work your children have been completing today.

This week we have been learning about two small (local) communities which the children are part of - Home and School. We have discussed the different members within each community e.g. teachers, students, parents, helpers etc. and have spoken about the responsibilities of each member.

It would be great if you could discuss, with your child, the roles and responsibilities of different members within your family to help them further their understanding of what responsibilities are.

Regards,
Mr Meehan

Who We Are

Dear Parents,

As part of our “Who we are” Unit of Inquiry, we would like to invite you to come into class and share some information with us about your job and how it helps the community.

The children will think of some interesting questions to ask you, but if you would like to prepare a little speech on what you do (you are welcome to utilise the interactive whiteboard) we would be delighted. You are welcome to come in anytime over the next three weeks.

Please let me know if and when you can attend. You can email me directly on mrmeehan@think.edu.hk or write a note in your child's planner if you are able to help.

Kind regards,

Mr Meehan
